That should be Aimee Major Steinberger- Major is a name, not a rank.

| The Girl Who Leapt Through Time would have made a great addition to the list of recommended young adult films, as it too deals with the "coming of age" theme very well. At least Persepolis got featured on it. |

| I'm a librarian myself, and also a great fan of Love*Com and Studio Ghibli. I'm very happy for this planets collision. |

I guess I'm going to be the odd girl out and just gape at the recommendation of Love*Com. I guess it's for a younger audience though. I'm just jaded over having loved the anime and being completely floored by how terrible the movie was.
Props on Spirited Away, though! |

I swear, that guy looks someone stuffed a ton of cotton balls in his mouth. Gives me the creeps though.
I'll never watch Love Com because I can't stand shojo, but I did enjoy Spirited Away. The mouse was my favorite character in that movie. |

I really love Aimee Steinberger's book.
The funny adventures of a slightly naieve otaku and her friends in Japan. Simple art style (think more Azumanga Daioh than anything else) but with a lot of humour and charm. |
