The encyclopedia recognises some role names in Kanji and converts them automatically. I've noticed some common roles (OK, probably some not so common also) that are not recognised and been meaning to make a list of them, but never have, so will start one now.
アニメーションプロデューサー (Animation Producer) 色彩設定 (Colour Setting? Colour Design?) 選曲 (Music Selection) 作曲 ([Theme Song] Composition) 編曲 ([Theme Song] Arrangement) |

I think the ones in that list are all recognised when adding staff - these ones are not.
[edit /] 脚本 (Screenplay/script) 仕上 (Clean-Up Animation/finish animation/digital paint.. would like to see an approved translation of this as it is called all sorts of things) コンテ (Storyboard) 演出 (this was brought up in the other thread, and I don't a decision was ever made) 特殊効果 (special effects) 美術 (Literally "art", but I use "Background Art" as it makes more sense in context) Also, it might be best to merge this thread into animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10835 |
