Episode 59
Kise would be right at home with Shounen Hollywood.

I actually have more respect for Yukio from the latest episode, especially based on that flashback he had with Kise and the rest of his team.

Kise hurt. Can't play with full power..
That put a dent in Kaijou's plan.
Kagami pulled his head out of his pants and played like a pro!
2nd quarter tie was just amazing.
Flashback to Kaijou's history with Kise was nice.
Intense game!

Finally this boring match is over. Not only did Kise miss most of the match. Seiren won even though they didn't stop Kise lol. The Shutoko vs Rakuzan match was 10 times better.

Kise actually held most of this match imo but yeah, so far I wasn't all impressed by it either. Based on some of the scenes after the credit song, I guess we'll be seeing some flashbacks soon.

Kuroko had some pretty good timing.
Both teams fought hard.
Time to decide who takes the victory.
Damn, who knew Kuroko would save the day.
Still, that was a close win for Seirin.
Kuroko tells his story. That could take up some episodes..

Episode 63
I think I'm going to like this arc. Nice to see the GenMir team actually play together.

Finally! Middle school days.
The beginning of everything!
Kuroko sure worked hard to get better.
The 1st stringers were popular to say the least..
Aomine & Akashi were a really good influence on Kuroko.
He might have quit playing if it weren't for them!
It was awesome to be a 1st stringer.
Great episode!

Kuroko's Flashback begins. I wonder how long this will last but so far, it's kinda interesting to learn more about the Generation of Miracles' backgrounds. (I mean, we did see a bit of that already from one of the OVAs but this one will focus a lot more in depth.

I like how they made younger characters even cuter and more adorable than before, but why they draw their bodies so boxy and too wide?
Weirdly disproportional for people of that age.
(I know that whole anime is disproportional since everyone is full head taller than actual Japanese people, and it meant that way, but still.)

Um, although the average height of Japanese 17-year-old boys is about 5'7" (only an inch or so shorter than American boys), there are a lot of Japanese guys 6' and over now, and surprise! some of them are drawn to basketball. (and volleyball) So while they're mostly taller than average Japanese people, they're not taller than "actual" Japanese people.

They still looks so. I mean, you can find videos Japanese school basketball matches and compare.
Though I did not complain about that, the complain was that they turned bodies of characters into boxes -- which makes no sense.

The story of the beginnings continues.
Kuroko slowly becoming one of the guys.
Akashi became the new captain.
Midorima-Murasakibara tension was pretty high.
Aomine-Kise had the same problem.
Seems like the team was not doing so well.
Good episode.

Not going to lie, Aomine and Kise's rivalry was amusing to watch. Slow episode but I like the atmosphere that Akashi has around the team.

Episode 65
Daayum, that guy has the most lethal death trigger I've ever seen. His "As long as you're around..." dropped the head coach before he could even finish the sentence. I had to pause I was laughing so hard.
Then it got sad after that. I'm a little disappointed that Akashi's thing turned out to be just simple dual personality though. I was hoping for something a little more outlandish.
