Anyway, I'll believe this three weeks after the first episode airs. I bet it'll come bundled with Duke Nukem Forever. |

Ya I was led to believe that its just re-running the first season too. Thats actually why I came on the boards to see if anyone had any more info. |

Sweet merciful god, yes. I had given up hope on a Spring 09 airing.
As for the "relaunch" thing, rumors have gone around for awhile now that the new season might retell the first series (ala the new FullMetal Alchemist anime). Whether that's what they mean by "relaunch" remains to be seen. |

It isn't going to be a retelling. The picture on the cover and the picture in the CM are both from the Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi. |

It's like that day Yen Press licensed the Haruhi novels all over again... Pure excitement and bliss!!! I shall now proceed to be rather giddy for the remainder of the day.
Note the wording: "new anime project." I don't think this is just a repeat of the first season; this seems to be the real deal. |

| I think the relaunch means it's going to launch again (the series) they may start with the first season before the 2nd season starts up. Plus with how much they are banking on this light novel with Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi and been doing with ads on it, I don't think they are retelling the story. I'm so glad they are going to show it now. |

In the picture, there is no Japanese word "relaunch". It only says that TV series will start in April.
I think we can finally watch the second season in April. Soooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!
