Aww, the cast sounds like they had a lot of fun dubbing the show! I loved Travis Willingham's answers to all the interview questions. Yuri Lowenthal seems like an inspired choice to play Barnaby "Bishie Batman" Brooks, who shares a few characteristics with Yuri's Sasuke from Naruto (they both could care less about how attractive females find them, they're both incredibly self assured, reluctant to be team players, and, of course, angst).
I think the fact that they allowed the VA's to have fun with their characters and ad-lib lines could make the dub more interesting (and mess with sub fans' heads, of course). It's too bad that there are no plans to put this on Toonami yet. Every time I watched an episode streaming last year I'd say "this should be dubbed and airing on [as] already!" Here's hoping they get there!
And there's a chance for an honest-to-goodness sequel? Yay! |

Agreed, it would be perfect on [as]. I'm really interested to hear the dub (which is unusual, normally I couldn't care less about dubs) because the cast looks great and I like the idea of them having some fun with the lines and making it their own.
I need a blu-ray to preorder already though D: |
