Man oh man, what is VeePee's problem??? She needs to lighten up, man!
...
I do, however, find her visually delicious. I've got a thing for emotionally cold chix.

It's no Hanasaku Iroha yet that's for sure. I find the school setting infinitely less interesting, and the characters are erring a bit on the moe side for me.

Probably can't handlethe fact that singing reminds her of her mother

So, more so than big sis? First underwear then a wet suit.

Ep 3 was better than ep 2, and if things go well, ep 2 will fit better within the framework of the series, it just didn't work well as a stand-alone ep for me.
Some nice humorous touches. Makoto walking in on Konatsu in the bath as payback, only for her to reveal that their mom knew about his porn collection all along was priceless!
I like the bromance brewing between Wien and "Tai-kun." (Which is refreshingly platonic, as is the relationship between the girls thus far). While all the plot developments were pretty much paint-by-numbers predictable, it was still an enjoyable episode overall.
Well, not everything was predictable... I get that the guy was from Spain, so even without the language barrier he was supposed to have weird foreigner vibes, but what was up with the pet pig? When he first appeared on screen, I thought it'd be revealed as a service animal, but it seems eccentric Spaniards living in Japan keep pigs as pets.

I was cracking up at her English in that part. and I think he was Italian, not Spanish.
I dunno, ep3 hasn't done anything to excite me, but I'm still watching.
It does feel like ep2 was a throw-a-way episode though.

Nope. It was actually pretty dang fluent Castillian Spanish.

That little incident on the bridge was just LOL
It's a shame, but since that recital ended everyone just quit choir club.
I felt sorry for Tanaka and his cancelled badminton club.
Badminton match to decide who gets members was a unique concept.
It was cool how girls were nice enough to merge both clubs into one and make everyone happy ^^
That Takakura sensei annoys me very much with her borderline hateful behavior towards them.

Damn, that vice principal got on my nerves this episode. Also, the ED changed a little.
Also, lol'd @ beginning of episode 3.

Episode 4.
I find I am rather liking the Miyamoto Konatsu character. At first she was set up to be a sort of genki-girl, but she falls short now and then. She is a bit of a flake but she has managed to keep her friends in the club, to the point that they are willing to do a performance with no audience.
Best line this week: "Aw Jeez! Your Family!". ha ha.

Konatsu found her childhood idols LOL
She was really fired up about those Condor Queens.
Sawa finally resolved things with her supposed stalker too ^^"
Her mom's connection to them was a surprise to Sawa.
At least Konatsu learned she needs to follow her own path and not someone elses.
Their little Hawaiian setting was pretty nice.

*yawn* I'm not really finding much to keep me interested here, aside from Sawa...she's visually delicious and I love a woman riding horse
But yeah, the story is very light and the transitions are sometimes disjointed. I might give it another one or two episodes, but it won't be something I'll be rushing to watch anymore.

I see in comments here and elsewhere where many people find this very boring. Well, I am not surprised to be honest. This is a very low-key coming of age drama and audience for this genre seems to be on the low end. Personally, I love it. I love it for drama, for character design and animation, for subtle comedy and also, I love it when every scene is relevant to the story.
Simply put, Tari Tari has been consistently entertaining for all of it's 4 episodes to date. This along with Sword Art Online are my favourites of the season.

Actually it is Sawa who is holding the club together. Konatsu has a goal, but she is impulsive and rather dense so while she is the force that gathered most of the members for her club she is also very dependent on her best buddy Sawa to help her keep it all together, at least that's how it is for now. It was also Sawa who carefully invited Wakana to their group, although if you paid attention you could recall how Sakai always feels as 'outsider' in their group. But now there is some development we can see in the latest episode. I am excited to see where and how it all goes. Oh and I also love how dedicated Sawa is to her friends.

Anyone know if Condor Queen and their song Amigo Amigo are real? Because I see their song listed on the Tari Tari page here. When I was typing out Amigo Amigo Condor Queen on youtube it showed up on the autocomplete like it was a popular search but no videos showed up though.
