| No argument here. Volume 3 shows the best of Azumanga, and why this is one of the best series of the year. Great artwork, excellent dubbing, the translator notes, funny and addictive characters, the worst opening song in anime, and a cute cover shot of Sakaki. |

I don't remember which volume it was, but there is one episode in particular that really got me laughing. The episode where:
Everyone goes back to Chiyo-chan's summer house, and Osaka tries to wake up Yukari-sensei by method of hitting a frying pan, but ends up carrying a butcher knife instead...
I think that was Volume 5. In any case, another fine review there, Nagisa. I feel the music is especially underrated and I appreciate you going into length on how important it actually is. |

Neat trick with the blacking out of the spoilers, there.
Another fine review. I don't know why you hate the opening, however. While not a favorite of mine, it's far from the worst ever. |

I like the opening sequence, I just don't like the song. The reson why I don't like the opening song is that I find the melody to be annoying, especially the "Lu, Lu, Lu" sections of the song. |
