What's having 'Noir' and 'Madlax' without having 'El Cazador'?

Good pick. Though had a bit of trouble getting into this one. Glad to hear. Will pick it up.

*looks up info on this anime* Oh, looks interesting. I'll definetly check this out. (Still waiting for a certain other title to be licensed, though, FUNi Anime smallmouth + sweatdrop )

I already own the much superior Noir.

The only thing Cazador has going for it is the Amigo Tacos song.

Still though, maybe the OST will come out so I can own it.

And so the last of the Bee Train girls-with-guns trilogy has been licensed for R1, even if it took a bit longer than I thought it would. Even though I haven't heard exactly stellar reviews about this show, I'll probably pick it up at some point down the road.

The OST is what got me into the show....Savage Genius doing the OP and FictionJunction YUUKA doing the ED

imo...it was decent....it could have been better, but still one of Bee Train's better works.....(discounting any works they did "in-between" animation)

You may also want to scratch "trilogy" by April....Phantom is coming out and I look forward to it Very Happy The summary of that gives it a very Noir like atmosphere..

God, I was waiting for whenever they would announce this. Sounds like another awesome year for FUNi. I mean, we're getting this, Slayers Revolution, more of Claymore and Baccano, Darker Than Black, RomeoxJuliet...Sweetness.

i still have yet to finish this series, i fell out of watching it after Gurren Lagann got good.

does Funimation have the rights to Noir and Madlax, or are they still in ADV's camp?

EDIT: looking at this sudden blitz of c/d titles, i suspect Hitman Reborn might be getting licensed this week.

Wow when I saw the picture it screamed "Michiko e Hatchin" to me haha. Sound's interesting. I'll have to check this out.

Actually, Noir, Madlax, and El Cazador de la Bruja featured a duo of gun-wielding girls (did Ellis use weapons? don't remember). Phantom is a male-female duo, and is a remake.

ADV, most likely. The Encyclopedia only has ADV as the licensing company, and ADV's scheduled to re-re-release Madlax in April.

Looks like an interesting show. I'll probably rent it first when it comes out to see if I like it or not, and if I like it, then decided to buy it then.
