Not surprised at all, it was pretty much a given this would happen considering how successful it was in sales.

S1 was really good, but I've lost interest since I read in the light novels that...

If there's nothing else good out in the season this drops, maybe I'll pick it up.

No, they are not releated no matter how badly Sena wants them to be.

As for future twists, spoiler[Yukimura is revealed to be a girl, and Kodoka and Sena are childhood fiancees.]

For who he'll choose, I'd also like to see a Sena ending, but Yozora is obviously the main heroine so it'll likely be her (plus they went the Sena route in the Haganai+ manga). Though Kodoka himself repeatedly lets slip that Rika is his type and he'd fall for her if she wasn't, well, Rika. But at the moment spoiler[he's in the typical "like how things are and don't want to risk changing it" phase.]

Oh, and I wonder who'll voice Kate. Whenever I read her in the novels I always hear Ami Koshimizu.

I could have sworn that a second season was announced some months back. Maybe it was just wishful thinking on my part at the time, so either way it's great to see we'll be getting more. More Meat is always a good thing!
