I wonder what her plans are after being an assistant. I'm also wondering what her specialty is in the art department.

Lol, awesome, sounds like a dream come true for them.

I like the fact a manga will have an American to help with any English/American aspects that may show up. But then again, the weird English and American things that pop up in manga are pretty amusing...

I had a feeling that she was involved in the English speech bubbles in the new manga...

seeing the words "holy crap!" (in chapter 1) written into a Japanese manga made me smile for some reason. Definitely a lot more natural than the Engrish that usually shows up in Prince of Tennis before hinoai joined the comic. And the story says Ryoma used to live in America, so...

I can't congratulate her enough! She is not only achieving her dreams, but she is doing it while working on one of her favorite series, and a wildly popular one at that, too. Awesome.

Wow, I bet everyone told her this would never happen. I'm happy for her.

Also, I'm glad my job doesn't make me stay inside for a week O.O

What made me smile is the Japanese translation of this sentence. "sugee" seems way too soft to me. And "ya drop something, miracle boy" ... I suppose that's slang then?

But it's nice to see a foreigner participating in a very popular series. I wonder if all those purists now will still consider Prince of Tennis as a Manga ... because only Japanese can draw manga xD

At least that should get some real portrayals of America and Americans. Too bad for the tennis though. Laughing

Wow! That is just the coolest thing this side of orgasmic! It's like if Uncle George asked me to hand him fresh pens while he's writing the next Star Wars movie or something. What a great honor. Congratulations!
