I was pretty happy when I saw this got an OVA and it'll have another one called Corpse Party: Tortured Soul. As I watched it I was a little disappointed that the killing scenes in the beginning were mostly blocked out. You only get to see spoiler[ a girl getting her eye stabbed out before it goes into the bath scene] I dont know what to think of it yet. I've played the game before so I'm hoping they'll keep it the same as that and have some kind of story and not make it all about the death and fanservice and what not.
[EDIT: I don't see any indication of an actual anime for this series in the Encyclopedia, so I took the (TV) out of the title. -TK] |

I came across this randomly and tried to watch it to see what it was. I gave up on it after about a minute or two, since I had no desire to watch a bunch of children being tortured to death.

I haven't had the opportunity to play Corpse Party. I have an Australian Playstation Network account, but it won't let me download games from Europe.
I do hope it gets an anime, though. Higurashi got me hooked on the horror genre.

obviously there not gonna show the killing scenes as soon as they make an episode of it. Wait a year and then youll have your uncut version of it with all the blood and gore you want

Wow... this is sick to say the least. And warning, a graphic scene went pass the censorship somehow. I love horror and gore but this is just too much. The scream is very well done, though. It deserves a credit.

Still, I've been waiting for some kind of animation for corpse party, and when i finally get one, all the stuff that makes it what is is blocked out. Its frusterating. |

I'm on 50/50 divide on this I wanted to see that scene animated from the game however I knew what was coming.. and it still even made me flinch. |
