| She's looking at what possible target audiences there might be. I'm wondering how well that movie did in Japan. Though I am not a fan of the series in any shape or form, but it proved so popular that they're already making the second movie. Although from what I'm told about it, the content of the series only gets worse. |

Looks to me like it may have just been a joke comment, judging from the context. But hey if Japan decides to do it, whatever... I always thought the illustrations in their versions of Twilight were kinda cute.
Now I get to see a thread turn into a Twilight hate thread again (although for once it's an actual Twilight one at least). |

Seconded. I don't know how anybody can keep up with this series. My sister was reading the first book, and she said that it gets worse when she started reading the second book. Trying to find out what all the hype was about the series, and seeing how we're trying to find out about pretty boy vampires, that is something that cannot stick to a good agenda. If Alucard could come out and do his job, then I'm all for it as well. |

Yes, please.
Although really, does Twilight have any less substance than a number of existing romance anime? It's a dumb-as-bricks love story that ignores all vampire canon, I grant you, and the writing isn't that great, but I don't think this merits the 'death to all involved'. It's just silliness.

| I've read all of the Twilight books and I honestly don't mind them. They're okay for a light read. I think an anime series is just going way too far. Then again, I didn't want a movie either, but we all know what happened there. :/ |
