It is really weird that they haven't released season one. CR announced they picked it up three weeks ago, their subbing team works fast and it was just assumed they picked it up so more people would watch the new season... but its just languishing in limbo, despite the time sensitive nature of the license. |

Thanks for posting info about series beyond episode 4. This show reminded me of my first insane efforts to survive in a 4-year college program toward pursuit of entry into the world of veterinary medicine. I had to leave this series after episode 2 because of deja vu without proper medication.
A re-attempt shall be made....beginning at episode 4. |

Moyashimon was one of my most-loved "series that desperately need a sequel to tie up the unresolved plot threads." I love the cast, their mischief, and the standout setting (not only is it not high school, it's agricultural college!), and the fact that a season 2 is happening is enough that I'm willing to look past things like a slow start (or is it middle?) or a completely different staff, as long as the end product is good.
Heard a lot of initial impressions label it as disappointing and almost edutainment-ish, but I like that it seems to catch back up with the pace of the original by at least six episodes in. I'm waiting to watch it when all the episodes are out so I can digest it in larger chunks - wherein perhaps the slow first couple episodes won't seem as large a deal - but as long as it delivers the kinds of hijinks and characterizations I liked about the first season, I can't see myself not liking it. |
