I didn't actually find it too absurd in the context of the show.
What gets me laughing is their description of Kakeru as a "typical" high school student. None of these characters are "typical" in any sense of the word. Kakeru in particular is probably the most perverted anime character (at least one of...) outside of hentai productions. |

Actually, even Shueisha's blurb for the first volume of the original light novels called Kakeru "ordinary" or "typical." In other words, it's not about his mentality — he just doesn't have super powers or amazing intelligence. |

This description must make Brian happy given this weeks Answerman Given this is being made into a direct to video OVA and the girls require kissing to live, I would be highly surprised and would eat my words if this did not end up heavy on fan service.
Is it just me or do the girls in this anime literally define 'airhead'?  |

| For a series that may look like the guy is going to have a harem, this series ended getting TWO yuri couples! This series is still crap though. |
