You should have said something about buying the official NA release of Inuyasha because now I can see them buying a DVD copy that has like 30 episodes on it for only 10$

You're right, the Suikoden OAV has nothing to do with the games. The manga, however, is based on the games and is marketed as such.

For CCS fans you can also read Tsubasa which uses the CCS characters in a whole new and different story.
It also crosses over with XXXholic
