Those weapons must be real if she's getting stopped by security.
Another funny strip! |

| In this post 9/11 World it's comon knowellge you don't bring pointy objects as carry ons... Hell I've only flown twice (by which I mean two round trips) and even I know you don't bring pointy objects... the pointest obbect I brogutht on a plane was pair of chop sticks and those were a small gift from my mom bought after securty as we were waiting for out plane home from Japan... It's just common sense. |

I was pretty much sold on this week's strip but the sign in the last panel was like icing on the cake.
Bravo! |

^ Gah! Beat me to the sign comment!
Anyway, I've been following these comics ever since their start, so great job as always, Sevakis. A part of me wonders, though... wasn't there a recently won lawsuit by SQUARE-ENIX against these unlicensed manufacturers of FF-based weaponry? If so, then might she buying UNLICENSED MERCHANDISE? Or is that at all relevant to her, even...? |

No, more likely she made them herself. Still unliscensed, but she didn't buy them |

Please, this is the TSA we are talking about, as long as the weapons go through the x-ray machine everything is fine...
...
... wait ... HIT THE DECK, HER BELT BUCKLE IS SHINY!!! That or her innocent looking hairbow is kept on by a +5 barrette of pilot slaying. Either way, if you tried checking all those accessories, they would just pull you off the plane for a chat. At least this way everything is out in the open up front.
Hmm, short and completely off-topic from the prior series ... I'm suddenly curious to read the TIAF round-ups for tales of inspiration. |

| In a post 9/11 world you can get stopped for anything. And no, anime doesn't count to magically get you through. |

Silly people, don't you know the TSA are humorless rubes that simply take their disgruntled views on life out on anime fans? |

Nah, they totally copied off of Robin's idea and just beat her to the punch. |

Well I can't speak for Paoloa's armory, but that sign brought back memories of every time I've gone through security at Salt Lake |

Yeah you really need to prove that those weapons are fake. You also really should transport them not as carry ons. |

| When I went out of the country for spring break, someone bought a toy wooden sword and tried to take it as a carryon, though it had to get checked, but it came out fine, no broken pieces when we came back to the U.S. o__o |

| Actually, I was wondering about Nina there, she doesn't look too good. I was wondering if it was the after-effects of a little pre-convention trip partying going on. Or, more likely, she was getting bored to tears waiting for the TSA to finish Paola's interrogation. |
