I have been planning to watch the 1st season, so knowing it will have a 2nd is pretty nice...

They're obviously going to have to introduce new characters(including a new villain). Because the 1st season pretty much was a self-contained season that left a somewhat open, but clear ending.

I am a bit puzzled by the image posted in the story. It looks like white haired Jubei with ears like a fox. Hopefully this doesn't take a turn where they're now master samurais and have animal spirits too.

This is really good news indeed. I really enjoyed the first season. It's unique look and style caught my eye at first, but the story and characters kept me returning for more. I could see Sentai announcing this as a license as soon as the show comes out. (hopefully)

Awesome! First season was a surprisingly good show, and I'm really looking forward to the 2nd.

spoiler[If I'm remembering correctly, only the villain's servant was finished, whereas the actual villain was only (temporarily?) driven away. So there is a possibility that he may return.]

Great, ANOTHER Japanese show with xenophobic isolationist fetishism.

Like we REALLY needed another one of those.

Didn't like the paint splotches?

I actually got more enjoyment out of the show BECAUSE of them.

It was some creative censorship, sure, but it got old fast.

Samurai Girls season 2? I liked the first season when it was funny or sexy or fexy but when it turned serious, I lost interest.

Great art style and Aoi Yuki was fantastic {who else could bark and cry at the same time?} mitigated by a surprising amount of nihilism so I'm only mildly interested.
