It was like, 3 years ago that I saw this series, now...But I really enjoyed it. Considering there's a bunch of shows airing now that have even worse animation, I think this rant could've been put to better use.
I was kinda wondering if anyone would even bother reviewing it; it wasn't even that well known in the fansub community at the time...I'm still not digging the sub-only 5-disc series plans, either; I'll just be waiting for the box set so I can have something to hold them all in one place, and presumably it'll be cheaper anyway. I would've much preferred FUNimation to handle this series; 2 sets and a dub, in addition to actual advertising online would've made for a much better package. |

How unusual -- the review reflects my thoughts on the series as a whole so accurately I'd almost think I'd written it myself, in my sleep! And here I thought I was the only one who'd hated Night Head Genesis. (I marathoned it in two sittings; two days of my life I will never get back.) I guess the only difference in opinion would be that I didn't mind Naoya's whining... after all, he did it in Ishida Akira's voice.  |
