Wow. I would never have expected this from Kusanagi.
He probably pissed off Shingo or Kimura. O_O

I don't think he needs to round up the press, they seem to be all there already. And with the trial set for tomorrow, according to a news clip aired earlier, I'm sure we'll get his public apology in front of the cameras soon enough.

Wow. This was unexpected, to say the least. Although I'm glad he was just "naked and shouting," which is more stupid & irritating than anything. I was afraid the "alleged indecency" part would be something more sinister. I'm just now starting to get into watching (mostly) raw SMAPxSMAP, their weekly variety show, so it'll be interesting to see how they address this (or not) in the weeks to come.

This smells of set-up. His "mates" take him out and get him pissed to the point of unconsciousness, then strip him, and dump him in the park whilst driving off larfing their arses, and waiting for the press. At least he can use that as his defence. No win, no fee. Wink

He's not going to blame on alcohol. Japanese don't make excuses like we do here in America. The only thing I guess we can worry about is that Ninja Scroll movie getting pushed back if he does jail time, although I kind of doubt that.

They're probably going to place him on "hiatus" like they did with Goro.

Reading the other article just posted by oministry - it's a roundabout way of blaming the alcohol without actually saying it was the alcohol. Everyone makes excuses for their behaviour (or at least attempt to justify it) no matter what ethnicity or culture. Besides he was just drunk and naked and screaming - nowhere near as scandalous as Edison or Gillian in the Hong Kong entertainment industry.
