I was thinking of buying the manga soon, I guess it will be a good time to read it since the movie is gonna be out very soon.

The manga was really good, and I thought sufficiently disturbing.

I hate to be a naysayer, but I don't have high hopes for the movie. Number one it's being scripted by the ones who wrote the Death Note movie, and I thought that movie was a big stinky pile of poo.

Garai is too pretty. Is there going to be lots of spoiler[gay sex] like in the manga? spoiler[Blatant anti American-occupation-ism]? spoiler[Rape of the female lead?]

It doesn't seem like it's going to translate well into a movie at all if they're going to make it all action blockbuster-y.

Looks too much like Death Note, and not enough like the actual thriller it deserves to be. Shouldn't have modernized the source material that much, methinks.

Haven't read MW, but I'm excited for this. I'm used to seeing Tamaki as humorous romantic leads though...

Plus, like, portraying male homosexual relationships but without shiny effeminate yaoi bishounen? That's pretty awesome.

Same here (currently finishing up Love Shuffle, coincidentally), but between him and Takayuki Yamada I think I definitely need to see this.

I just read the manga which I really enjoyed so I'm looking forward to the movie. I wonder if they're going to gloss over spoiler[Garei and Yuki's sexual relationship. I'll be disappointed if they're just "good friends" in the movie because much of the guilt Garei feels is over his "sinful" relationship with Yuki and Yuki uses it to his advantage.] I'll be disappointed if they leave that out of the movie.

I love the manga,and I'm looking forward to seeing how the movie turns out ^^ And like everyone else,I'm also wondering how they will handle the spoiler[gay sex scenes]...
