| I can live with subs. I can't imagine watching that series with dubs, since I grew up practically watching the series just the way it was. Glad to see that they're doing this, maybe I can check them out time and money permitting. |

Toei already tried releasing R1 DVDs before, but only got up to four volumes. Was a bit surprised to see it listed in the Encyclopedia entry.
Animax-Asia dubbed the whole series (currently re-running). Filipino fans may have gotten sick of the constant reruns of the Tagalog dubs, though it'd be nice to have it on a better (more convenient for me) timeslot. Overall I'd stick with Japanese or Tagalog over the Animax English dub. Dunno how good the Toei dub was. |
