I can't help but wonder if this is an act of desperation for Fujisawa to go back to the main title that made him popular, since I don't recall any of his other titles after Great Teacher Onizuka being particularly popular.
Not that I'm complaining, though. I've only seen the live-action series at this point, but I'm always up for more GTO. |

| Will this be a sequel to GTO, or a prequel set in the Shonan Junai-gumi days? |

This has my attention.
But I hope it's a sequel and not another 'prequel' (yes I realize that Shonan Junai Gumi came first). It's been what, 10 years since there has been new GTO? |

This seems relevant to my interests.
Well the manga ended in April 2002 (according to Wiki) so what, 7 years? It might make a bigger impact if he waits till 2012 but, sure, I'll take some GTO now, thank you. |

If it's a sequel to GTO then I'm all for it. Though, I thought GTO's ending was perfect and the only thing that didn't cover was whether Onizuka and Fuyuutsuki will finally get together.
So, I'm wondering if this indeed is a sequel what other things Fujisawa could add to it that don't feel like a sorry excuse for a continuation. |

Agreed, that's also why I'm hoping it's a sequel. Of course, seeing more of Onizuka's antics sounds great. |

| My first reaction was "No! don't ruin something perfect like GTO!" but you guys make me have hopes, if it is a sequel. |

| Want more Urumi and Tomoko. Also, less Fuyutsuki. |
