Whoa, is that Seraphim on the cover of 00S2 #4? But that would mean that two volumes so far have had four episodes, and the other two have had three (at least). I didn't know the Japanese were getting to be more generous with their DVD releases.

Quite a lot of R2J DVD's have 4 episodes per disc.
For example all the long running shonen like Naruto, Bleach, D.Gray-Man, Hitman Reborn, Gintama etc all have 4 eps per disc.
The first vol's of Shikabane Hime and Toradora also had 4 eps in order to balance out the ep count so the rest of the DVD's have 3 eps each.
It's generally only the shows that aren't expected to sell well that tend to have 2 eps per DVD, but then these also tend to come with a shed load of extras. |
