| Really? Baltimore?
If the person in charge of A-Kon in Dalas ever reads this, please take note. THIS is the kind of guest you need to start to try and get to attend your con. |

| Its hilarious, but even after several years, the Hare and Guu Finale still hasn't been licensed. I mean the rest of the series has been licensed, so this is what confuses/frustrates me.
But this convention would be more interesting if the creator of said series were to show instead of the Director. |

Yeah, it was really disappointing that it was A-kon's 20th anniversary and there were pretty much zero big guests, just the regulars who are always there. But when 20,000 people come to convention without needing famous Japanese guests, then why would they bother to get one? |

| These guests are what all true cons strive for.
I hope any people lucky enough to meet this industry member report back on the experience. Here's hoping attendees manage to remain level-headed when queueing up to meet this chap. I myself would struggle. |

| With the English Nagi-sama fanclub and now this, it's beginning to feel more and more like Kannagi will be licensed for R1. | |||

Maybe the series had abysmal sales? |

| Anyone from ANN going to this convention? You know, like someone who can make really engaging interview with this director. We know that these Japanese guests only comes once or twice in a decade. | |||

Yeah, it even looks similar to what Bandai did with Haruhi in the US. |

| This announcement, after Crispin Freeman's announced attendance, gives me no doubts that this con will be ****ing amazing.
Granted he didn't write, fully direct the seres or work on the art, he was on the staff for Air TV. That's still a huge deal to me. This makes him GOD of the convention in MY book. I will make sure of it that I get this man to sign my artbook for the show... And hopefully get to thank him for being apart of the team that adapted such a beautiful story into my number one favorite 12 episode anime series of all time. There are only two people who could make me 'over' excited for the convention, either one being enough, and that is: -Shoko Nakagawa and -Daisuke Ono ...Or Tomoko Kawakami. | Looks like my first Otakon experience is shaping up to be a good one. Makes me not mind so much that the convention blocks at the hotels were all sold out before prereg was even available |

| Oh wow.
This is a make-or-break thing for me. Seriously considering going now... Few things are more epic than adding the DIRECTOR's autograph to my SOS-dan signed poster from AX 2007. |
