A happy ending for all. That's all I really wanted.

This season was certainly weaker than the first, mostly because it became a pure super power battle anime. The first season had battles, but the main thrust of the story was the mystery of Shiro's identity and his involvement in Tatara's murder. Here we just had an enemy group who were upfront about their plans.

Why did Kuro and that green chick's powers still work after the Slates were destroyed? I guess some powers faded slowly like Shiro's hold on the body. I never forgot that his original body was still intact so I knew right away he'd be back.

Can't see them making any more K after this but it was a good note to go out on.

So in the end what happened to the colorless king? Who was he anyway?

He got killed by Mikoto. A new one just never showed up before the Slates were destroyed.

As for who he was, even he didn't know and that was kind of the point. He lost his identity because he body hopped too much.

Excitement? Speculation?

Ridiculous levels of excitement?

(I feel like barely anyone else in English areas of the internet loves this show ridiculously, but it's popular in Japan still, if you go by the magazines and things... anyway, I hope Viz will still dub the rest of it, because the first season's dub is the best dub in years, IMO...)
