Because magical girl shows have never sold very many DVD's in the US; even famous ones like Cardcaptor Sakura did poorly in region 1. The only exception seems to be Sailor Moon.

I just finished ep 30...
I'm not looking forward to that filler, but man am I now excited to get to the Utau conclusion! Nice timing for this review (for me anyways Wink ).
I was feeling that the show was dragging a bit after spoiler[the showdown with Nikaide(sp)], but I couldn't really figure out why. But with ep 30, I realized its because I don't like depressed Amu, I like frantic and stubborn Amu much better Razz .
I am now really looking forward to the next stretch...

can Tadase really wear that many frills and still maintain his masculinity?

What masculinity? Laughing

I'm happy to see Shugo Chara being streamed. I love this show. I even enjoyed some of the fillers (The Rima one was pretty hilarious). Unfortunately the manga is a monthly deal and at one point the duo known as Peach-Pit had to take a month off for health reasons, so fillers are a must in this case.

I stayed up all night last night and watched starting from where I was, at ep. 27... I'm at 56 now and still going. I love this show. It's the only anime besides Code Geass to almost make me cry. Anyway, when they character transform in ep. 56, I remembered this review and I just had to stop by and see what it said about Platinum Royal... oh the frills!

I find it pretty hilarious that of all the character's outfits, the boy has the most frills.
