I don't know if the "黙示録" in the title was a direct reference to the Bible or an actual reference to the Apocalypse in general. There are similarities between the show and some Christian stories, but in all actuality, the "kami/kami-sama" mentioned in the series, leading to the end, was more based on the Japanese version of the label of "kami" rather than a Christian-like version of a "god."
I could give my reasons, but I don't want to go off topic. I can't remember if Urobuchi said anything about it specifically, though... and on the other hand, I can't deny that it still referenced Christianity, even if the concepts were a little off. Japanese people have a weird view of how Christianity works...
Either way, when I saw this on his Twitter yesterday, it was pretty neat. =3 |

| Madoka's birthday is the day before my own birthday (october 4, today)? That's pretty cool. |

| I wonder why stories like that use the date of birth as a pivotal date, when you'd think the date of conception would be a more accurately important date for the creation of a super being. |

It would be too obvious? At least it's not random. =P |
