fudge yeah. I love the manga, it's quite original, and quite entertaining. Best of all: badass male lead.

A good male lead? Certainly can't have that in my anime adaption. He'll be turned into a pussy sure enough.

Well this breaks my brain a little with shock. Wow. Shocked

It'll be interesting to see how the anime turns out. The manga isn't exactly low on fanservice and it's extremely violent and dark in places since the vampires are mostly borderline insane.

What will be even more interesting is if this gets licensed down the road.

That's one of the things I loved about this show. The fact that immortality drives most vampires insane, and self-destructive. Mina (the main female) said that "Immortality is like a raging river. If you do not have something to hold on to (i.e. someone to love/protect), you will be carried away and swept under".

Yeah, no kidding. I remember checking out the first chapter scanlated and being rather surprised by how much graphic underage nudity fanservice there was. Then even more so when it actually got licensed. It's the type of thing I'd be afraid to own.

Then you are a fool. Had you focused on the story and not the fanservice, that is only present in the first half of volume 1, you would have found an engaging story with developed characters and intriguing battles.

I second that and if it only takes that much to be afraid of owning then a lot of anime and manga shall not be at your disposal.

I've been keeping up to date with the manga and have been waiting for the next volume.

I'm unfamiliar with the manga, but I'm all over anything with vampires.

If that's the case I may have to give it a second look. The plot sounded really interesting, but when I actually paged through the first volume.... Yeah.

A male lead? That's disappointing. When I read the info I was hoping Mila was the lead character. I'm a little less interested now, as much as I adore vampires...

I just bought volume 4 of the manga yesterday and it is good. The series is great and I hope that the anime is just as good.

Wow.

I hope the anime character design's make justice to Nozomu Tamaki's sexy style.

I wonder which animation company will work on it and how much of a budget its getting? Will it have a strong look and vibe like Haruhi Suzumiya or Gunslinger Girl S1??? .... or will it have a "get it done real quick and move on" feel like Murder Princess or Gunslinger Girl S2???

Personally, I hope for something along the lines of Ghost in the Shell, Tsubasa or Shakugan no Shana. Wink
