I hope to God that that image of Tokyo Tower 'bending' is an action shot of it 'falling' and not some sort of in-between where it is up but just hanging on because it sounds like they are trying to be at least a little realistic.

Looks to me like its falling during an earthquake or something of the sort considering the mass panic going on.

I'm happy it has ranked so high. In my opinion it's the best new show of the summer season.

Shocked WOW! A late-night show made it to spot 9?? I guess I've got to check this out! Then again, it's BONES in the Noitamina slot, so you figure it's likely to be good...

Wow not bad.
Considering those that have watched and complained about it already. After having a chance to see it subbed it's premise is quite interesting. But we'll see. I'm looking to see more. We need more dramas like this. Although sadly, it's not for everyone.

If this shows does well enough to turn heads I would love to see it released here. Along with 'East of Eden' and 'Dennou Coil' (yep I'm going to keep begging for it). But based on the state of the industry and what's popular chances are slim.

So go 'Tokyo Magnitude 8.0'!

If you ask me, this is one of the potentially better anime this season. This is an anime all of japan can appreciate, for the very threat quakes are to their daily lives. Lets hope those figures improve.

Having sampled the sub, it starts off slow as expected, but once the quake hits, you know the shits going to hit the fan.
