So...they made a new Japanese trailer that has an english narration and uses the english logo? Odd. The narrator doesn't even sound like he's trying either. It sounded like a narration for Disney DVD commercial or something.

According to an article, it's a "world" trailer, where an English voiceover and logo would make sense, I guess.
It's still a weird trailer nonetheless. The narrator seemed awfully cheerful for what's obviously a very dark and intense movie. |

The voice over guy sounds like he'd be better narrating a commercial for Night Court.

Y'know I'm starting to get the feeling that these movies are nothing more than a retelling of the original story but with updated animation and CG. So far I haven't seen anything different in the series especially when people have been screaming for a 2nd season, which will probably never happen.

The anime is over 10 years old. Of course a new season won't ever happen, unless it's a new series altogether. These movies are supposed to be a retelling of the whole manga, with each arc getting a trilogy of films.

The more footage I see from these films the more I wonder; just how much of it is CG? I know Studio 4ºC can animate, but looking closely it looks like they use CG in odd places. Is that true? Is that a new norm? I think I saw CG in King of Thorn as well instead of frame-by-frame animation. A new trend?
