I agree.

K-On Movie was awesome though. Definitely deserved the award it got. Anyone who's actually seen the movie could tell you that

The K-On Movie was a masterpiece. I loved it from start to end and even clapped in front of my laptop when the credits rolled.

And absolutely love Yuru Yuri and Nyaruko, so I am very pleased with this result.

I literally just watched the K-ON Movie a few hours ago, after putting it on hold for so long. Watched both TV series a year ago.

The movie was absolutely amazing, reminded me why I love K-ON, very cute and heartwarming, hands down best movie I have ever seen (except maybe Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu). I especially loved the Tenshi ni Fureta Yo song at the end, It makes me want to rewatch the entire K-ON series which I will.

Even though I haven't watched Nyaruko-san yet, I am very happy with these results. K-ON movie was an absolute masterpiece and the Yuri Yuri series was awesome as well.

Anyways its good to see amazing anime getting the attention they deserve. ^^ Though I doubt it about K-ON, it would be good to get a third season of Yuri Yuri.

Having just finished both seasons of Yuru Yuri, I can say that unless you know the tropes of Japanese anime, the show's premise may be a tad difficult to understand. But it's a really fun show, and I wouldn't be surprised that a third season is already in pre-production (after all, the original manga series is still being published with new chapters).

Which does remind me: does anyone know has Sentai Filmworks licensed the K-On! movie yet?

Kinda weird to see the last few years get anime like Madoka, K-On and Geass as Anime of the Year, and now... Yuru Yuri. Not that its a bad show or anything, its above average, but I don't really see how its anime of the year caliber either. Oh well, they got the Movie and OP of the year right, at least!

I actually agree with Yuru Yuri winning this. It's an excellent show. It's probably one of the best in the genre, if not the best, since Azumanga Daioh.

Awesome to see Yuru Yuri win, but why is this article confined to the UK talkback section and not the main section?

Still haven't seen the K-on movie as I couldn't make it to Scotland Sad
YuruYuri is OK, but I wouldn't consider it award winning stuff - I've still not finished the second season.
