Someone's seen Potemayo, or Di Gi Charat, or nearly half of the new shows out.

And it's based on a visual novel.

Am I right, or am I right?

Someone needs to tell the male protagonist to take it easy. Cool

Kuu-tan's eyes are too small.

This takes the phrase "moe blob" to a whole other level.

Lol, moeblob animu.

Sadly enough, this is the "plot" of way too many anime.

For some reason, the subtitles are cracking me up.

Nice touch and good work.

It reminds me almost of Midori Days heh. And true love can not be stopped by such silly things like not having a torso or real arms and legs. True love is eternal!!!!! Laughing

You know, sometimes I think Robin is a bit too genre-savvy.

Yes, this is most likely a visual novel and/or a light novel that's still going on in Japan. This is also the plot of way too many anime these days.

I'm a huge nerd for the super-sad moe girl anime, especially the Key ones. So therefore, this comic is awesome.
For some reason, the lyrics to the theme song cracked me up...and the whole questioning of the lack of torso.
Actually...of any show, this reminds me of Midori Days. It's the same kind of absolutely absurd premise.

Part of me wants to nerdrage...

And then the sensible side of me calms the nerdy side down, saying, "You know that's totally right."

But I do loves me some moeblobs. This is pretty much how most of them are on the outside.

What I love is that you're wondering for a few panels who's going to say it first...

Is it just me or are moe artists getting lazy and uninspired?

"Show X's characters are even shorter and have bigger eyes and cuter sayings! How can we compete now? If we draw her any shorter, it'll be impossible to proportion her."

"Then we remove the torso and squash the legs. If anyone complains, give her a sad backstory and incurable illness."

I took a look at her entire body, and then thought, "What?"

I got a good laugh out of the prolonged silence followed by the "Where's her torso?" comment. Thanks for the strip, as usual.
