| Good news. Kaichou wa Maid-sama! is one of my favorite shoujo romantic comedy manga. I hope the anime adaptation is more successful than S.A.'s was. That was a missed opportunity that shouldn't be repeated. |

| Well anticipated when the drama CD was released two years ago. Wish they keep the original cast led by Sanae Kobayashi and Tomokazu Sugita. |

| One of the few shoujo titles that I actually like. Should be interesting how they go about this one. I always pictured this one being animated. And, for some reason, being released over here by Viz. Eh. Too early to make assumptions. |

| I'll join in on the thumbs up chorus. I picked Maid Sama up on a whim from the Tokyopop booth at SDCC and have been enjoying it ever since. It's a fun story and could be an equally fun anime. |

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!!
My current fave shoujo manga-- funny, smart, and fresh, with plenty of fanservice without being too saccharine. Awesome~ |

Not at all. Haruka is an ojou type. Misaki is definitely not. |

Looks cute! I love a good shoujo, especially when every season is otherwise inundated with moe, moe, and more moe.
I have to give a big "WTF" at the localized title, though, given that "Maid-Sama" kind of misses the entire point of the name. Ahhh, whatever. |

I don't think it's so bad. For one, it associates itself with the original Japanese title (which a lot of readers would be familiar with because of the series' popularity as a scanlation). And it's got the juxtaposition of the normally subservient "maid" with a highly respectful -sama suffix. Other than that, it's short and easy to remember and pronounce. 'S all good!
Yay for more shoujo anime!! |

Couldn't have said it better myself, comrade.
I actually squealed in joy upon reading the article's header. I can't wait to see how it comes out! |

Not at all. Haruka is an ojou type. Misaki is definitely not. |
Also, Misaki works as a maid. It's her part-time job, not her pastime. Haruka celebrates her fandom in secret. |

Just finished manga volume 7 two hours ago. Misaki and Takumi finally kissed, with fireworks in the background.
Now I wonder if Sanae Kobayashi would use her Lucy/Nyuu voice. |
