Thats sorta the joke.

What is with anime girls' obsessions with grabbing each other's boobs? Men, I assure you, this is not a real thing.

We know. No guy actually thinks women do this when they're alone together. That's why those of us who like this sort of thing watch anime that have it. It's the only way we'll get to see it. Outside of porn I guess.

Those shelves are fantastic. Also, I have to admit, I never really thought about putting wall scrolls on my ceiling. Now that I look, they just seem so barren. So thanks Ryan, you've inspired me to improve the condition of my ceilings!

Oh man, I'd give Children Who Chase Lost Voices Shelf Worthy. It's easily my favorite work by Shinkai.

I'm glad to hear it get higher praise. I mean, I was gonna buy it anyways, but Bamboo's review kind of made it seem like it wasn't up to par with other Shinkai works, so I was a little concerned.

I personally hope I never have to resort to it - I love my ceiling fans too much.

I'm not sure I'd want to live in that house, I'd spend half my day worrying about bumping into some stuff and causing a massive cascade.

1. Whatever. Alternate Earth. If there are jet pack legs, it's the future, dammit.

only one pair of jets makes an appearance, and that is in season 2. and just like WW2 in our universe, they were highly volatile and not yet ready for mass production

This thread isn't derailed over how a Makoto Shinkai film made the Rental Shelf and not Shelf Worthy? Who are you guys and what have you done to ANN?!!!!

Anyway, sweet mother of god, those shelves...

That has yet to be proven.

Also, the whole angle of, "Only young, virgin girls have power, and it goes away when they become adults." So cliche, so tiresome. :/

Don't underestimate that power. Somebody just paid a whole lot for it:

"Brazilian student auctions virginity online to Japanese man for $780,000"

(In the same story: "A male whose virginity was also auctioned... fetched $3,000, paid by a Brazilian woman." Dunno how he's gonna prove it, but that gross discrepancy highlights inequality! Laughing )

The characters all go to a penis festival, where the girls enjoy a variety of dick-shaped foods. Then, in a scene that's so absurd and so blatant that it borders on genius, the girls give each other overly descriptive demonstrations of how to eat their foods. Except when they're talking about food, you're to infer that they're actually talking about dick. It's so uncomfortable it works.

I was laughing so hard at the first sentence, I couldn't finish reading. XD

Also 'dem shelves. O_O

My friend does it all the time, going off of what my other friend says, considering I'm a guy and all. Then again, she is rather...eccentric to say the least.

Also;
HOLY HELL. Those shelves!

Is that a TF Armada set? I have the Energon Collection but was completely unaware they did an Armada release.

My first thought was just how painful it would be if Ryan ever had to move.

I actually think the opportunity cost of just not moving would pay off every time.
