Go Junjou Romantica!!! Anyways, I am curious as to why Mei-chan no Shitsuji and Glass Mask have yet to be brought over when they are both selling well over 100,000 copies per volume and yet series which I have yet to see on these charts and with only 1-2 volumes released to date seemed to be announced quite frequently for North American release.... |

| Surprised to see that One Piece 54 is also on the top 30. Seems to be nearing 2 million copies. | |||

I'm quite surprised that Glass Mask hasn't come Stateside yet. |

| I don't see how One Piece can attract that much buyers... It is full of cliches and tomfoolery. I stopped reading years ago.
Oh well, what can you do about it... |

| Awesome to see OP on top, but even more awesome to see that Nodame 22 has sold a million copies. | |||

| Glass Mask: probably not licensed here because it's oooold-school shoujo? I mean, I'd love to see more early shoujo works here, but everything I've heard says that niche is not a strong seller in the US. Glass Mask's popularity in Japan is also probably at least a little related to how many generations of fans grew up with the title; the US doesn't have that nostalgia-factor.
Mei-chan no Shitsuji: I don't know why. Maybe Viz is planning their next announcement as we speak... One Piece's numbers are always so incredible. And it's got two volumes on the list at once!! |

| Yes! One Piece reins supreme once agian. Too bad it's not as popular in the United Stupors of America. Then agian, football (the real football) is not as popular here either.
Glad to see my favorites series has great success. The next few volumes are going to sell like hotcakes looking at the content. |

| One Piece may be the Numero Uno manga seller in Japan, however, globally Dragon Ball (as far as I know) is still number one with over 300 million tankoubon sold. | |||

| Where are you getting that 300 million figure? All I can find is this, and I don't know where it got its figure. | |||
