NEWS: CLAMP Ends Tsubasa, RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE on September 30

I'm tempted to say "Oh shit, really?!" But I'll wait until the story is verified by a source outside of 2ch.

I guess this gives them more time to avoid finishing X. Rolling Eyes

Of course it has been common knowledge for months that both of those series would end this year. Here's the confirmation that the next chapter will be the last, btw.

Now where is that Gate 7?

Great. Now spend the next year completing all the unfinished series. PLEASE.

It's really nice to see a series will be ended.

I hope they go back and finish X now, and get Gate7 up and running properly.

yay! i was checking out the scanlations about a month ago, and it seemed pretty darn close to ending, I was just waiting for someone to make the annocement.

xxxHolic seemed to be pretty close to wrapping things up too :< so probably this time next year CLAMP will be working on totally different things.

...maybe Kobato will get longer chapters too? please? for me?

I fin it really annoying that they just pushed back xxxHolic in order to let Tsubasa catch up. The latest chapter released for both are clearly tied. The only difference is xxxholic's got published in fricking august!

Oh, well, let's see how they play the ending of Tsubasa with only 2 chapters left.

Awesome - now I can buy the volumes and know where it all ends... I am looking forward to eventually reading it all..

Wow, this will be the first time a manga I'm following has come to its natural end. (The only other two series I've seen through to the end died clearly premature deaths ~_~)

Still... only two chapters? I was expecting a little more than that to tie things up >_< Here's hoping the final chapter will at least be a nice lengthy one...

Always good to hear a CLAMP title coming to an ending rather than just stopping. I enjoy TRC quite much though I am way behind, at only V.10 or 11. I like x^xxHOLiC much more and wish that was the series that had more volumes.

Either way, it is good to hear that both will likely be finished.

Now that TRC is ending, I can finally start reading it. (I've sworn not to start any CLAMP manga until I know they're going to finish it.) If xxxHOLIC ends as well, I'll read that one too. All the while hoping against hope that Legal Drug is continued and finished.

Wow. First series I'm reading that's ending. Everything seems like it'll come to an end recently. Fullmetal Alchemist's not too far off....
Now to wait for Gate 7, and hopefully an ending to X.

Honestly, I'm surprised that xxxHOLiC didn't end a few months ago... They had to drag it out to coincide with the ending of Tsubasa, but they kept skipping issues with Tsubasa, too...
