I understand why there are the separate Saiyuki Gaiden and Ibun series, but why do the other series have to go from Saiyuki, to Reload, to Reload Blast?
That said, I'm happy to see that the Sanzo-tachi are still on their way west. |

| While I'm a big fan of Saiyuki, I can't help but think this is a bit overkill. I mean, how many more prequels/alternate re-tellings/sequels/etc. is she planning on pulling out? |

| I gave up when I realized they're never going to make it to the West. Enjoying the journey is all fine and dandy, but I would like to get to the destination sometime. |
