| This is very sad news. But, it's best to remain optimistic untill the very end. |

I hope this doesn't mean what I think it means, because if it is...Aw man what a way to go. |

| I dunno. Remains would imply decomposition, and that usually doesn't happen that fast, does it...? |

| Unfortunately decomposition when a body remains exposed to the elements and insects can render it difficult to identify in a time as short as 48 hours. Exposed as this body is, it's likely decomp was in full swing within a few hours. After a week, it's very likely the body would be in a condition that "remains" would be an accurate term. |

| I hope and pray that it isn't him, but...unfortunately the evidence is all pointing towards a sad outcome. |

| I find it hilarious that if it turns out to not be him, everyone is going to rejoice. As in, "Hooray! The dead person is nobody important!" |

| It's him. For it to be a mistake would require better luck than you could pool from the whole of mankind. |

That's pretty dickish of you considering Shin-chan is quite popular in Japan. |

| this is sad, if they are his remains, then may he rest in peace with God in heaven *says a prayer*. I'm a Christian, so I'll be sure to keep him in my prayers |

If you're a christian, shouldn't you keep him in your prayers regardless of his identity? Whether it is the creator of Shin-chan or not, a family just lost someone. |
