Well, you KNOW Johnny Yong Bosch will be in the dub. It's getting hard for him NOT to be in something.

LOL (phonic lol not L.O.L. lol) But i'd be surprised if they couldn't gather the main cast since all of them are still fairly active in Voice Acting. But very cool. I still need to the first US DVD set though. I got the second one but my friend borrowed my Bootleg. 5 years ago... *sob... love and peace... *sob love and peace...

It still hasn't been licensed by a US company since Geneon went bust, and the license reverted.
That being said, I would be surprised if this doesn't get picked up as one license for both the film and series at somepoint down the road.
Though, I would be very upset if Funimation got it and changed the VAs for the movie. In my mind the original English cast is the only dub I will accept. |
Well you might be the first person i know who like the original cast along with myself. Most people do too but dont like the voice for vash during it's Adult Swim run.
Funi has too many titles on it's plate so i dont see them licensing it at all.
I'd guess it'll probably be media blasters that gets the license which will guarantee a brand new dub unfortunately since most of the original cast i believed are retired and JYB who was Vash's voice might not reprise that role cause of commitments to the naruto shippuden series and that nicktoon series three delivery, and espeically to bleach so i don't see vash's original voice returning though i would be susprise if he did.

Well, unlike Haruhi's movie, Trigun is actually good news. I have no idea why to suddenly bombard us with Haruhi, just hope the movie won't be as awful as Haruhi 2009.
Trigun though, after its only season, was never "mentioned" again. It was some kinda of legend left behind.

I'd like it more if it was sans Wolfwood and was, in fact, a proper sequel.
Speaking of which, any updates on "Ninja Scroll 2"?
