Episode 178 (2014 episode 3)
Good to some of what makes Mavis Fairy Tail's original badass. Hmm, if the tournament was made to suck up magic for the gate, why would they suddenly allow the plans to change? Did not think about it before but I think that it is hinting at a larger plot, maybe involving this princess. |

Fairy Tail (2014) episode 4:
Decent episode and I do meant that fight between spoiler[Gray vs. Rufus made an impact. It did feel a bit fast though but that ending made up for it. That's one Sabertooth team member, down four to go. According to Mavis, he is imperative to FT's success.] On another note, the segment in the caves felt kinda out of pace. The girls do look spoiler[hot in those swimsuits though.] |

Episode 179 (2014 episode 4)
Why does so many of Natsu's plans often involve trying to use spoiler[Lucy to seduce their enemy]? The thing is that it has never worked including episode one, well except for with spoiler[Dan Straight] but he should not count. Kind of confused why they can't like have Mira get them out, she can destroy an entire town. And Mirajane often brings up the point of why does she always go the opposite when supposed to be getting guy's hearts. And Rufus was pretty overpowered, like that one guy earlier who could make anything he imagined. |

Fairy Tail (2014) episode 5:
Decent episode and looks lspoiler[ike they didn't waste time in the second half against those knights. I think at this rate, they will shift between the Magic Tournament and this Eclipse storyline.] I think it might be a good transition. The PV shows spoiler[Mirajane] being a badass |

It's nice to see Fairy Tail ispoiler[n 1st place.
Lamia Scale] is pretty close tough. spoiler[Sting unintentionally become the Master.] But his situation was not that simple. When you crush one evil, another immediately takes its place. Good old fashioned blackmail is omnipresent. Well, at leastspoiler[ Sting] got the motivation needed to get serious. spoiler[Natsu & Co.] are still dealing with their own problems. It doesn't look like that will get solved anytime soon. Things got actually worse for them too.. Well, at least there are some interesting fights ahead. |

Fairy Tail (2014) episode 6:
An alright episode I guess but some of the comedy was weird. I'm more interested in the magic games right now to be honest but Mirajane was pretty awesome. I hope the FT guild can get out of that mess. On another note, Asuka was cute talking to Mavis <3 |

I've always found Wendy's voice supah-cute, so I looked up her seiyuu today and it's Satomi Satou which a lot of you probably already knew. Anyway, for larfs, I decided to check out her other credits and just about fell out of my chair when I saw she was Nana Sempai from Golden Time! Would never have guessed that in a billion years. Talk about two completely different roles and vocal styles. I also saw that she was Eru Chitanda from Hyouka which is one of my fave female characters of all time. That one I should have picked up on.

This should be very interesting. It was certainly fun watching them fight ^^ Those Knights have interesting powers too. spoiler[It doesn't look like they're gonna quit anytime soon. And no one is currently winning either.] Guess they're gonna be a serious problem for Fairy Tail. spoiler[The fight in the streets ain't progressing much either.] |

spoiler[Seeing Loke again put a smile on my face. It was nice Lucy could use her magic again. Things really got crazy with celestial magic in the mix. At least it was an action filled fun fest! The ice thing made me laugh quite a lot. That weird -tai guy had quite a lot of different magic at his disposal. Wonder what is his secret? All the different powers made him an interesting challenge. This episode provided a nice display of celestial spirit magic. Great episode!] |

Poor Wendy again.... The latest episode was okay but seriously, that spoiler[Aquarius face at the end was awesome. Someone is about to pay for their actions. I hope it won't be Lucy at first though since she's not exactly on good terms with her LOL] |

There comes a point in virtually every FT arc where I go ... okay, next. I've reached that point. I hope some of the Executioners get defeated next time. All of them, actually.

^I know exactly what you mean. I don't remember if it was the same in the manga, but it really feels they're dragging these battles with the executioners forever, and there's nothing remotely interesting about any of them or any of the fights. The only thing worthy of the whole thing was seeingspoiler[ Pisces true form], now I really want this boring fight to be over so we can focus on the Magic Games

They're going at a pace of about 1 chapter per episode at the moment, significantly expanding some of these fights to do so. They've done a fairly good job all told, despite some kind of stupid stuff like Cosmo shooting ordinary sour fruit at Wendy, and Wendy freaking out about it. Hopefully they'll pick up the pace some with episode 184, the episode titles already confirm the same pacing for 183. |
