Maybe someone can help me out here. In the opening you see Natsu, Lucy and Happy running and then stopping to face someone. Anyone know who that is? I read the manga but it's been so long I can't seem to remember that part.

Goku? Anyway, really careful with manga spoilers. Without looking for the new OP in that I have now only seen it once, I think I remember something with Zeref in the opening who took me a moment to remember. |

well i remember the main points of the arc for the most part (though I can't remember what happened to Jackal and Tempesta) was just really curious about that one part in the op.
I also heard a few months back that the anime would be using some stuff that Mashima had to cut from the manga due to time constraints so I'm curious to see if that's true. edit: Okay after watching the op a few times it's prolly spoiler[Mard Geer] which would be in line with what I remember. So I can stop agonizing over it lol. |

Fairy Tail (2014 - ) episode 66:
Hmm, I think this week's episode was alright, felt a bit more like a bigger buildup to things to come: We'll get to see what Zeref will do next time.. Also, glad to see Erza break out and Elfman restored back to normal for now. Go Cana! The excitement of this arc will hit its climax soon. Still getting used to the new ED theme song though. I like the previous one better but this one will do too. |

2014, episode 54 (Episode 241)
Oh thank god, this episode was Fairy Tail being awesome. And seeing Erza kick butt is single handidly one of my favourite things about Fairy Tail. Also the return of one of the most amazing attacks in this anime, Lucy Kick. |

spoiler[Elfman lost it. The cards idea was brilliant. Mira prepared a nice surprise for the mad scientist girl. All prisoners are finally free. Things were pretty hectic outside the cube too. Zeref finally showed his face too.] Great episode! |

Episode 67:
Well that was fun, maybe not for certain characters like Mirajane especially after what she heard from that demon who admitted taking control of Elfman. The episode also foreshadows some of the upcoming fights. I think next week will be Wendy based on the PV. |

But isn't Wendy being tricked? We were told it cannot be opened remotely, and demon guy was saying that he was having trouble finding where it was. Isn't there a big chance that the skeleton guy who was clearly using illusions is using Wendy to find where they need to go?

That END demon should provide some interesting entertainment. Aries & Taurus sure make a nice team ^^ Time to deal with the Face...well, almost. Decent episode. |

Episode 68:
Nice, so we are getting glimpses of almost every major battle on different front this episode. Still, Wendy is the one that stood out the most imo because it's DRAGON FORCE time. Next week should be exciting. And lol, that "Master Hades" form is hilarious. |

All the fronts have been shown. A little bit of everything, I guess.. Time was ticking away slowly, but surely. At least Wendy managed to find The Face. |

2014, episode 69 (Episode 244)
Okay, Dragonforce Wendy was awesome. If only the preview did not ruin that we would have a self sacrificing bit between Carla and Wendy. But it was kind of beautiful, they are best friends forever, just as strong as Happy and Natsu. Great episode with these characters. I did have the feeling that one person could swoop in to save them, Doranbolt, and it was true. |

Wendy finally shows her Dragon Force.
Impressive & she looked so much more adult. Carla has some useful skills. Things look pretty bleak.. Flashbacks near the end were sweet, yet sad. |
