Man, what does it say about Eva 1.0's appeal when you have to convince people to donate money to watch it? Laughing I hope FUNi didn't blow too much money on the sucker, Manga EoE-style.

dude....they're a local anime club trying to raise the funds to watch it; that's like asking "why does our college film club need a yearly budget?"

further, though, "Rochester" might as well be on the Moon; it's upstate and not really "New York"...

FTA, they're not making any money off of it since all proceeds are going to the hospital.

Besides, I'm certain they make more than enough money from Tora-Con.
