What was up with the new videos between the shows? Why do we need MUSIC translated to English? The other one had no anime references at all. Who were all those people, VA's or what?

Those are just the ones we got first. We have a couple deals in the pipeline and will have different ones coming in the next few weeks.

Anything you'd like to see? Other's have already requested AMVs a couple of weeks ago, so we're checking into the legal issues behind it.

One thing I would like is if you could add some text bumpers at the beginning and ending of each video listing the artist and song names. I know Like Money has this, but that's a part of the video itself. The other video with the one Rastafarian Asian guy (I can't believe I just said that with a straight face) didn't list either the artist's name or the song title.

Also, as far as videos I'd like to see, I'd like some Dir en Grey, Galneryus, X-Japan, and that sorta stuff.

........and Gangnam Style. C'mon, you KNOW you want to. Wink

I just saw the "Who Booty" music video last night.

........That.... does not belong on Neon Alley. Confused

I've been trying to catch that one!

When the concept of music videos was brought up, I was hoping for a lot of Asian artists. Some J-rock, J-pop, K-pop, etc.

Instead, they've given us.... rap videos. Confused

I know you guys are limited by budget constraints and what the labels offer you, but is this really all that's available for Neon Alley as far as music videos go? The "Got Money" video and that one song from the Japanese Rastafarian guy are so far the only ones that I think go along with the rest of the programming on the channel. The "Who Booty?" and "Goin' Back" videos really don't belong.

Considering the channel mainly focuses on entertainment from Asia, it'd be nice to see more Asian artists.

But that's just my opinion.

Yeah, as much as I love hip hop (hence my name), this doesnt really seem like something for neon alley. Unless it was something like Richie Branson, maybe. That or music from japanese (and other Asian) rappers. Japan has a sizable hip hop community, mainstream and underground. I'd love to see that on there, Im always lookin for world wide hip hop

Ok more Kpop and Jpop. Any votes for other Asian music artists or Asian dramas?

It doesn't just have to be jpop. It's not like that's what all anime fans like ( at least I can speak for me and the anime fans I know). You could even put j rock and j hip hop (and not even just the poppy kind)

I wouldn't mind some K or J Dramas but I don't want to see Neon Alley let the animation get lost if they add it.

Dramas...really?? What Neon Alley needs is a Puroresu(Japanese pro wrestling) show. Just like how anime is miles ahead of most cartoons. The same is true for Puroresu. As far as Promotions go, New Japan would be a great fit since they are trying to expand worldwide but if a major promotion is tougher to acquire air rights to maybe one of the various Indie feds will work too;Union Pro,FREEDOMS,DDT.

Oh man, if we could get Japanese pro wrestling narrated in English, I just might die and go to heaven. Very Happy

Do you have any go to sites that you use to check it out? Or is it easily searchable via YouTube?
