It's nice to see Bakemonogatari doing so well. I really hope that show gets picked up for release in NA.

I have doubts about Bakemonogatari's US release. Due to its phenomenal success in Japan, the asking price for the license is likely to be sky high. I can't see any company aside from Funimation being able to afford it at the moment. At the same time, I don't really see it having much mass-market appeal in the US. Not much action, lots of dialogue, lots of onscreen text to translate. With the shaky state of the US market, it might not happen at all. Well, I'm buying the blu-rays as they're released, and that's good enough for me.
