| Did you happen to go to Pixiv Market? I was there and the artists mostly sold original color illustration books, which was exactly what I was looking for. |

| Awesome article, Evan. This event looks much more personable and interesting to me than the Comiket/fan-art type stuff. It's also really cool that they were promoting some North American artists there as well. I'm curious how Japanese fans would receive their works. I'd love a translated copy of that Guide Book to True Japanese Culture!! >.< |

Nice, on ANN. I've been forever curious above these japanese comicons for ages now. Also nice to see some western artist getting exposure.
There's still a long way to go, for U.S publishers to go and give this kind of service to upcoming artists, without going crazy. I hope some day they'll get to this level. |

we do have things like this in US and Canada only thing is that for some reason, they really don't like manga style or 'traditional' american comics works.
I would have gone, but I couldnt sum up the money for it. |
