Ah, I already registered months back to play "KiraKira" (excellent title. Try the demo at their site).
Well, hopefully, when they release the sequel, "KiraKira: Curtain Call" they'll do this promotion again.
Also, I hope they will announce who's going to be at Anime Expo with them if they go next year. I was MIFFED when I read Shinji Katakura was there with them, yet, they didn't say *anything* about it.
That would have been the deciding factor for me to go.

I can't find my MangaGamer.com ID
Neither can we ; we've moved that requirement from the contest.
Is the contest open in country X
It's open everywhere!
Why do I have to register at MangaGamer.com ?
Because they're sponsoring the contest, and that's what they want.
Why is it only open to new accounts?
MangaGamer is trying to encourage new accounts. I'm sorry, they decided on the rules.

Er. I entered just before you removed the ID thing. Will it keep my entry, or should I enter again?

Oh great, I just noticed the "Winners' names will be posted on AnimeNewsNetwork.com" bit the second I submitted it. You really have to clarify what exactly you want in the Name section; I don't want my full name plastered across the announcement in case I win.

It isn't a porn game, though, so oh well

If you know enough about the franchise that you are interested in it, then chances are there's nothing in the game that would shock you. |
All ages as is not restricted (R 18/18+), the game has a 17+ rating anyway (but it's mostly text/ sound effects rather than visuals for most of the violence).

For what it is worth, for a variety of reasons, the French release of Higurashi got a PEGI rating of 7+.

Do want! Give me my awesome, ham-handed Hanyuu! (for the alliteration, I don't discriminate. They're all ham-handed)
Hope the person who wins will use it, seeing as the VN (inb4 someone corrects me with sound novel) market is a niche even within the anime community.
I for one would love to compare it to the anime, seeing how badly DEEN messed up Umineko. If DEEN butchered Higurashi as badly as Umineko, then the VN should be a real treat.

All ages? *thinks of the events of Meakashi-hen* That rating won't last long. (I know its in comparison to their adult titles. but REALLY, this series is NOT suitable for all ages. )
@Seljuk:
Yeah, I think Umineko is coming out worse than Higurashi did, even with Higurashi's somewhat odd art in the first season and DEEN forgeting some info that COULD have been fit into the required 25-ish minutes. Basically, my major vice with DEEN's Umineko adaption is Maria and her "creepy" face, which makes me laugh, unintentionally. Yui Horie voicing her works VERY well, though.
*Edit:
Also, the way the title is written looks really...eh. Oh well, I hope I can win ^^

This gave me a good chuckle.

Haven't played the VN for When They Cry myself, but upon further research, it seems like the anime was fairly rushed. in comparison to its source material. My hunch was that they tried to animate as much as they can, since they didn't know if they were going to get that second season.

The game appears to have been translated by google.
