| Who gives a f***? Otomo's there. He almost never does American appearances anymore. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Hell, I sat through the dubbed Spirited Away, cus Miyazaki was there. |

| I don't think AICN promised him to be there....I didn't think he was, but then the box office girl said the creators would be there...but they weren't. So whatever. Great movie ^^ |

| The press on the Cinemateque site said "spend an evening with the filmmakers". The only other time I was this disappointed was when Anno was too cheap to sub his short film, Ryosei Kacho for an international animated film festival. |

| ah, the cinemateque site said it...the AICN site had no mention, so I'm guessing half of the people setting this up dropped the ball with that announcement. I would have liked Otomo to have been there though. It would have been the awesome. |
