This sounds very promissing.

One major stumbling block is language. Does anyone know where I can get more info on this?

Now I need to put my animation reel together.

I'm also interested with this article *_* But does the program also apply to animators who are currently living outside of Japan?

Obviously I don't know anything about the program, but I'll just give you a general warning. Many programs (Konami School, the Toei Academy,) will not accept foreigners unless they already have the visas to attend school/study for years in Japan, as well as being fluent or at least rather functional in Japanese.

Most of these programs are just geared towards Japanese students and don't have the infrastructure needed to teach non-speakers.

So... in short, I wouldn't really get my hopes up, that's all.
