Ah, they're finally announcing the guests, seems like the new staff took a while with this. Hmm, no one I'm interested in yet but I bet that a ton of people are happy about Utena's manga-ka.

Looks like it could be Saito's first American con tour. And the Utena manga was made around the same time as the anime. It was one of those cross-promotional things.

She was at Anime Expo 2000. And now that I'm searching, it appears she was at Canadian National Anime Expo the same year as well. Not sure if she attended anything in between. If not, wow, it's been 10 years! |
