I thought at first it was just a single show or two for the sake of variety, but having another new shojou anime pops up around every season is kinda strange.
especially since on the other hand, there isn't much work put into bringing shows that may appeal to guys more instead of girls, which could be frustrating.

I understand that you have shonen and some seinen titles, but I really don't feel that the channel pays an equal attention to us, senior viewers, as it does with girls and children.

Is VIZ strong connections with shojou publishers the main reason behind this shojou mania?

it won't harm the channel to add a couple of sports or fan service animes that would make us guys tune in to the channel a bit more.

I believe the only Shoujo shows they have are Nana, Utena and Vampire Knight. everything else is either Seinen or Shonen
